DescriptionGown made of light blue and ivory fancy striped silk satin with a pattern of spots and flowers brocaded in pinks, golds, green, brown and ivory. Gown has bodice closing edge to edge in front, lined with cotton (thread count 36 x 36); bodice is fitted at waist and gathered across neck front; stomacher 1960-716 attaches over string tied front opening. Sleeves are shaped over elbow, with no flounces. Skirt open in front to reveal petticoat; skirt edges untrimmed, with deep hem facing of pale blue silk. Back has separate pleated panel falling loose from back neckline, forming slight train.
