DescriptionBroad cylindrical mug with flared molded base and strap-loop handle with a thumb rest at top and a scroll base terminal. White tine glaze decorated in blue with a fabulous landscape scene--harlequins riding a goat and a boar, dogs chasing a fox with a goose in its mouth, and a witch and musicians in the background. On the thumb rest, the inscription "I C M / 1729."Label TextThe design source and the story or stories depicted on this delft mug have not been identified.
