DescriptionBaluster-shaped soft-paste porcelain jug with foot-ring, sparrow beak spout, and molded scroll handle. The jug is decorated with an underglaze, cobalt blue landscape that contains rocks, pine, and bamboo. The scene features a woman carrying a flower basket suspended from a rod she holds over her shoulder. Standing next to her is a spotted deer holding a piece of fungus in its mouth. There is a band of decoration at the rim of scrolls with flowers alternating with human heads. The terminals of the molded handle resemble acanthus leaves.
