DescriptionMahogany kettle stand with carved pie crust top; fluted column over short, foliate carved baluster over uncarved reel and egg and dart carved ring; foliate carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. Round tenon at top of pedastal is threaded and screwed into turned mahogany collar that is attached to underside of top.ProvenancePossibly purchased by donor from Arthur Ackermann & Son, Inc in 1965
