DescriptionTankard: straight-sided mug with trimmed slightly spreading foot and ear-shaped handle applied to one side; transfer printed in blue with a chinoiserie scene of buildings, rocks and chrysanthemums, and figures carrying parasols; the interior and exterior rim transfer printed with floral and geometric borders; the blue transfer printing hand painted in pink, green, yellow, and orange.
